Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

short form for administrator

My brother did not have a will. I have secured an attorney. The Administrator form, or short form as they called it, I was told to I could make copies of it. When I went to my brothers bank to open a separate account for his estate, the person at the bank said they need the original and gave me copies. Is that correct? Should I have given her a copy and kept the original short form.

I think you are referring to short certificates. Generally when you open an estate you get a "short" for every bank account and every possession like a car or boat that you are planning to sell.
