Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Sold a property after Home Inspection done. Buyer wants more money, for repairs.

I sold a home, after the buyer had a home inspection completed. I fixed 6 things on the ''repair list'' from the home inspection and also gave a healthy monetary credit, for the minor things I didn't get repaired. Six weeks, after settlement the person is calling me wanting money for more repairs, for things not listed on the home inspection, as needing repaired. Do they have a case?

You are responsible to repair only what you agreed to repair. If the new items were hidden defects that you did not disclose there may be some concern. I suggest you consult with your broker or attorney to insure that your interest is protected. Do not respond to the demand without advice. Gerald Hershenson Esq. 215-579-9390
