survivorship

My mom just died, Feb 18 2009...i am listed as survivorship on her mortgage....does this mean i will get to stay in our home? I need to know what steps to take next..thanks

Condolences on your loss.

How the deed is titled controls ownership in the home. If the mortgage is not paid, the home may be foreclosed on.

You really need to deal with administration of your mother's estate. Check with the Register of Wills in your county to find out how to start the administration.
