Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

tenant, landlord

our landlord will start calling first thing in the morning on the 1st. we have a five day grace period. he calls several times and will come over every day. when we pointed out the five days he sent us by mail a new lease leaving out the five days. is he allowed to harass me and change the lease live that?

Calling you before the mail has been delivered on the 1st sounds unreasonable to me. Actually calling before the close of business the first BUSINESS day of the month is unreasonable. That said unless you have been late with the rent more than once is obnoxious behavior. It might be argued that it violates your right to quiet enjoyment.

The lease that is in force is the one you signed. That's the only one he can use against you in court.
