Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
Tenant lease
We are currently leasing a property and the owner let it go to forclosure. Our lease is until 8-31-08. The property was sold back to the bank. The bank has offered us cash for keys to vacate by 2-06-08. Our new home will not be available until 3-5-08. If want to ask for the extension should we have an attorney prepare the letter for us?

Re: Tenant lease
That would be a good idea. The bank might be willing to do what you ask. The key would is ask. If you don't ask then the bank has no way of deciding to grant your request or even knowing that's what you want.
