Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
tenant
tenant moved out after 1 month with no notice given after signing 1 year lease. I am holding last month rent and security deposit $1400.00.
I think I am entitled to last month because she gave no notice, apt. is not rented yet ( almost 1 month empty).
Lease stated she forfeits her security if she breaks the lease.
Can I keep her security deposit also because she broke her lease?

If the lease provides for forfeiture of the security deposit upon a breach of the lease, you may keep it.
