Termination of one- year lease

I am renting a space and signed a 1 yr. contract with the company that I am leasing off of. I received notice today that I must leave vacate the space by Ocotber 31, 2000, because they are undergoing renovations to the site. The office space will be demolished. What can I do. I have put over $8000.00 in renovations to the space that I am renting.
