Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

I have told my daughter's exboyfriend to stay off our property and he has not. Is there legal action I can take ? He is physically abusive and I fear something terrible may happen. The latest occurance was last night as he was on our front porch knocking on the door and looking in window startling my family.

Call the police next time and they will tell you how to get a restraining order.

With all due respect to Michael, call the police now, file an incident report, and charge him with trespass. That will provoke some, and get others to back off. If he behaves, and apologizes, you can drop the charge if you think that is best, though with some people, that could be perceived as a sign of weakness, so be careful. Just do what you think that is in your daughter's best interest, and don't waste your time worrying about if you did the best thing. There is a good chance that if you advise the police of any prior violence, there is a good chance they will at least s/w him now, and then if there is another incident, they will arrest him, because you have laid the groundwork now.
