Is there any way she can transfer deed to brother,s name.

A friend put a house in her name for a brother with bad credit. (she,s not renting property) She is constantly going to court for violations caused by brother and his family. Now she has to go to court because the court says that she should have a rental agreement license. Is there any way she can transfer deed to her brother,s name.

Yes. You can have either a quit claim deed drawn up which transfers her interest in the house or sell the property to her brother for a $1.00 and have a new deed drawn up. An attorney can do this relatively quickly and efficiently. One thing she does need to keep in mind is how the mortgage company will view the transfer--she may still be liable for the mortgage.
