Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

transferring real estate to relative

I bought a house for my daughter...she couldn't get the financing. She is making the payments. The house will be paid off in 8 years. Is there something I should be doing now to make it easier to transfer the house to her name when it is paid off? Will I need an attorney to do the transfer?

Re: transferring real estate to relative

If the mortgage does not have a clause re transferring property you could transfer it now or add her name to the title.

However the risk is the loan is in your name.

An attorney, like myself, could explore your options with you for a reasonable fee.

Contact me if you would like assistance.
