Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Verbal Agreement with Father

My father moved out of our house over a year ago. We had a verbal contract that we would not have to pay rent, just put the utility bills etc. in our name and pay them and our food shopping etc..and keep up the house and he would still pay the mortgage. He just came back telling us he is home and wants us to leave, Do we?
