Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania
I have a verbal agreement with my roommate. I am not on the lease and I want to leave. Do I have to pay anything after I leave if it breaks the lease?

As Samuel Goldwyn once said "a verbal contract isn't worth the paper it's written on" Fact is an oral contract is enforceable in Pennsylvania. That said it isn't easy. You should talk to your roommate and ask what it would take to let you leave.
