Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania

Discharged for false sexual harrssment claim

When a sexual harrassment claim is made against an employee, what is the process the employer should go through prior to terminating the accused employee? My friend works in the education field.

Re: Discharged for false sexual harrssment claim

It largely depends on the employer, and what procedural requirements the employer has imposed on itself for terminating an employee.

The answer also depends on whether the employee is a union member (your email mentioned the "employment field"). If so, that employee might have recourse through a union representative.
