Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania

How do Ihandle this?

I have been working as a temp at a local business. My immediate supervisor has been making remarks and staring at my chest since I started. I have to say that everyone in the work area (including myself) makes conversation and remarks about everything and anything but it is NEVER directed at anyone imparticular however, my supervisor has cornered me and told me the following when we're alone: What bra do you have on today, is that all you or is that a padded one?

What color underware do you have on?

Always had comments to make about me wearing thongs?

I notice that youre wearing your Donny Osmond underware. (purple)

Did you breastfeed?

One time I went to sit in down on the seat and he put his hand on the seat, palm up and I sat on it. I stood up and he said oh, I probably shouldnt have done that.

I finally told him he makes me uncomfortable and it needs to stop. He apologized and doesn't make certain remarks but he still comments on my underware and stuff like that. I did tell the HR person where I work but made him promise not to take it further in the hopes that it would stop and I'd get hired on. Well not the supervisor is retaliating and nit picking at everything. I need to know what to do at this point.

Putting his hand on your seat is definitely over the line, but men do tend to stare at womens' breasts and behinds, especially if they are partially exposed.

Are you sure you want to work for this company full time? If not, then you may want to have your HR person take it further. I think you have to pursue your remedies within the company first if they have established guidelines for dealing with sexual harassment.

You should first complain to HR, which you have done. Then you should file a complaint through your attorney. We handle cases like this. Your employer cannot fire you in retaliation. Feel free to call our offices.
