Do I have any rights?

I am an independent cleaning contractor at a powder metal company. I went to management for help regarding a man who was harrassing me. They let him go the following day. They let me go the following morning. Is there anything I can do?

Both federal and Pennsylvania laws protect en employee from retaliation for complaining of sexual harassment. If you were fired for making such a complaint you may have a right to make a claim for damages. your status as an independent contractor may complicate the issue but should not prevent you from making a claim. You should contact a lawyer promptly because there are strict and short time limitations for bringing claims of this nature.
