Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania
Sexual harassment--what are my options
I have worked at a retail store for 5 years. About 2 years ago a co-worker who I have NEVER had a converstation with tried to grab me and said ''How bout a squeeze?'' I told my supervisor, who pretty much laughed because this co-worker has an obvious learning disability. What followed was more creepy behavior---staring, following me around etc. Finally the co-worker walked pass me and said ''I really love you'' I filed a complaint with my store manager, there was an investigation and he was disciplined but kept his job. I was told that he was not allowed to speak to me. He listened for about a year but then began to say hi. He said in front of a witness ''I have these sick rages becauses of you, It is your fault.'' I told my supervisor and the only resolution I got was that they ''handled it.'' Again this coworker left me alone for a while but then started trying to engage me in converation. A few days ago I was in sitting in my car waiting fot it to warm up. I could see the co-worker from my side view mirror go into his car sit a minute and then exit. He crossed the parking lot and began to knock on my driver's side window. I was scared and layed on the horn until he ran away. I reported this and it is going to be ''handled''
