Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania
Sexual Harrasment
I am a pregnant sales person for a busy retail furniture store. They also employ non violent prison work release employees. I was approached on two seperate occasions by one new employee with inappropriate sexual statments. I asked him to please stop but he followed me continuing. I advised my managemtn team who stated they would hate to lose him because he is a ''good'' worker but they would tell him to watch his mouth. Now I am afraid of him because he has given me looks and not been reprimanded just told I am a whiner so keep it low. Can I sue my emploer for creating a hostile enviroment for me. My productivity in this commission based salary has decreased since this has begun. His statments were of completely sexual nature to me.

Re: Sexual Harrasment
You asked about sexual harassment.
You may have a potential claim against the employer for its actions. As you are aware sexual harassment is a serious action and has substantial consequences. But a claim against the employer may not be the best way to go. You need to speak with an attorney to evaluate the best course of action.
Your time to act in this matter may be very limited. You need to contact an attorney immediately to discuss the matter and come up with potential solutions.
