Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania
sexual harrassment
I was being fired from my job because of a complaint by 2 guys I work with. When I showed my boss very sexual text messeges from 1 of the guys (sent while in the same room) I got my job back then 2 days later I was fired again. My boss went to school with them. I asked him at me firing what was going to happen to them he said none of my business. I have been dealing with unwanted touches from both of them I was very afraid to go to my boss however went to other employees. 1 employee witnessed one of the guys strattle me. Do I have any rights now? Or does it look like I am just trying to get them back for getting me fired?

Re: sexual harrassment
Please contact our offices so that we may commence a claim on your behalf. If you want to e-mail me, I will send you a SHORT questionnaire that helps us determine how much you are entitled to recover. Your fee agreement with us (and any attorney in a case such as this) will be contingent--no fee unless you recover. Be advised though, you have some very strict time deadlines to meet, so be sure you contact us as soon as possible!

If you want to pursue this your first step is to contact the EEOC. Call my office and we can discuss it.

To answer your question directly: while some people may think it "looks" like you're getting back at them, if what you say is true then you likely have legal recourse. It's illegal under both Federal and Pennsylvania law to fire an employee in retaliation for a sexual harassment complaint.
You should contact an employment attorney as soon as possible; there are a number of legal filings you need to make promptly to preserve your claim. If you don't know anyone who can refer you to an experienced employment discrimination attorney, you can find them through your county bar association or through a number of other resources like this website. If you prefer, I'm happy to refer you to attorneys in your area.
