You asked about sexual harrassment and possible retaliation for reporting.
Sexual harrassment is a crime and often also a civil tort. If you were harrassed at work then you may have a civil claim.
Employers are required to provided workplaces free of hostile environments. Where there can proved a hostile work environment the employer must demonstrate either that it did not know about the situation, even though it was diligent in maintaining a discrimination and harrassment free workplace, or that it corrected the activity and properly disciplined the actors.
Moreover, an employer is required to protect employees, and others, from retaliation for reporting legitimate instances of discrimination or harrassment. Civil suits for discrimination, harrassment, and retaliation can recover damages in the form of back pay, front pay, statutory punitive damages and attorney fees.
I would be happy to speak with you about this matter. Please be aware that the time for filing such claims is limited and you must pursue these claims promptly or waive your right to do so.
