Legal Question in Social Security Law in Pennsylvania

benefits for surving spouse

together our social security checks total $2201 per month..thats net after medicare is deducted...my check is $1547 and my wifes is $654...If I die before my wife, how much will she receive each month of the combined total of the $2201 we are now getting? This is important to me and I hope you can give me at least an approximate number based on amounts currently being received....thank you so much

Moreover, you do not say whether you are receiving retirement, disability or both. You do not state your ages. These calculations are something that the case workers at your local office do every day. Call or make an appointment at your local office.
