Legal Question in Social Security Law in Pennsylvania

Compensation

When I was born in 1972 the doctor that delivered me used forseps to get me out and did permanent nerve damage to my right arm.I have very little use of it I have to use my left arm for everything. The disability in my arm causes problems with my neck and back.My question is: Is it possible that I could receive monetary compensation for my condition even though it's been 28 yrs? My parents never checked into anything about that due to they were just thankful Iwas alive. Thank-you for your time!!!

Re: Compensation

If you are disabled and cannot work, you may be eligible for Social Security Disability or SSI. Contact the SSA at 1-800-772-1213 to file a claim.

If you wish to sue the doctor or hospital, you should post your question in the personal injury or medical malpractice section. There are time limits, after which you cannot sue. A personal injury or malpractice attorney should be able to give you an opinion.
