Legal Question in Social Security Law in Pennsylvania
social security survivors
My uncle passed away recently. He was 82 years old and had been with his partner for about 40 years -they had four children together - they never married, but he never divorced his first wife, who is still lviving. His partner was told that she is not entitled to any of his social security. Is this true?

If she is not a surviving spouse, there is no eligibility.
