my babyfather past awy when my daughter was five he was killed and I was told I could apply for social security but when I applied they denied me because the said he didnt have enough quarters now here we is seven years later and I was told that she can draw social security from me since by the time I get old it wont be none left so I want to know is it true

Children may be entitled to a Social Security benefits in certain situations: 1 as a survivor of a deceased parent; 2 as a disabled child she may be eligible for SSI; and 3 as the minor child of a disabled adult who is entitled to Disability.

So, if you are receiving a Disability benefit, apply for her auxiliary benefit. If you have questions about eligibility, contact your local SS office
