Can a widow who is in the low income bracket get survivors benny before turning 62 or 65?
income level is under 14,000.00
Her husband died at age 57, and his widow is 55 now?

Income is not a factor.
A widow or widower may be eligible for full benefits at full retirement age, or reduced benefits as early as age 60;
A disabled widow or widower as early as age 50.
A widow or widower at any age if he or she takes care of the deceased's child who is under age 16 or disabled, and receiving Social Security benefits
