Legal Question in Tax Law in Pennsylvania
IRS income tax relief
I didn't pay my income taxes in 86 and 87. Since than I have paid 10 times the original amount of the taxes. Every year they take my entire refund. It will go on forever. Is there anywhere I can go to beg forgiveness.

Re: IRS income tax relief
See form 433-F amongst others ... tax amnesty or tax forgiveness are the
nicknames. Did you even call the IRS on the phone and ask them?
There are two deals. 1) They'll put you on an installment plan, paying
what you can, but the interest keeps running and the bill takes forever to
pay off. 2) Pay all you can for 5 years and they'll often forgive the rest
THESE DAYS. "All you can" is a negotiated item with them prescribing major
portions of your household expenses from off of a chart as a starting point
and you have to justify anything else. I think # 2 is the better deal. It,
too, requires you pay on sort of an installment plan.
