Legal Question in Tax Law in Pennsylvania

Online Business

If our company is based out of Philadelphia, PA (online only). and we sell clothing to people within the states. so when people purchase something from our site, we then purchase the product from a warehouse in china. What do we need to do leaglly (licenses; permitts, etc.) for business and tax purposes???

Philadelphia has a business privilege license that you will need.You may wish to incorporate or create an LLC which is registered with the state. If so, you would then need a EIN from the IRS and a state of PA Number. You should contact a lawyer to discuss what works best for you for tax and liability purposes.
