Careless driving ticket called in to police
I was issued a careless driving citation by police who received a cell phone call from another driver. If the officer did not witness the incident how will this help my case at the Magistrate trial?

Re: Careless driving ticket called in to police
Obviously the Police Offcier cannot testify as to what he did not witness. If the other driver does not attend hearing a lawyer should be able to get the charges thrown out. I offer free consultations.
Re: Careless driving ticket called in to police
The cell phone caller will have to testify in order for the ticket to be sustained. The police officer should also have to testify to exactly what he knew with regard to what you did at the time he pulled you over. If he didn't know enough, the ticket should be dismissed. If the caller doesn't testify, it should be dismissed.
