Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

Error on speeding ticket

Got a speeding ticket Monday on the PA turnpike. Dont know how i was speeding considering i was following a friend in a pack of cars, but thats not the issue. My issue is that the officer made an error on the ticket, and circled that we were traveling westbound, but we were actually going eastbound. Can an error like this void a traffic ticket?

If the officer were not so pompus, i would pay the fine and move on, but my wife and i were shocked at how arrogant this man was and would love to see this ticket get voided for his stupidity. Any help out there?

Re: Error on speeding ticket

If you were ticketed for more than 5 mph over the speed limit it is almost always worth it to fight the ticket to avoid the points and insurance surcharges. The error might not get the tiket tossed but certainly would give some leverage in negotiating a lower speed ticket. I offer free consultations.
