Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania
Who's at fault
Car 1 (going north)goes aroung a car at an intersection to go down the turning lane. Car 1 goes over the yellow line moves back inside the line and gets hit by car 2 who was pulling out of the interesection (car 2 is going west) The car that car 1 went around waved car 2 on to go which resulted in the accident. Who�s at fault?

If car 1 was within the yellow line at the time of the accident it should be clear of liability. It would appear that car 2 violated the duty to exercise due care and caution by traveling in such a manner as to strike car 1 within car 1's proper lane of travel. I offer free consultations.
