Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

Hit and Run

I was recently pulled over and falsely accused of a hit and run. The officer took my information and said I would be hearing from him. The following day I recieved a phone call from the officer saying that the damage was so minor the owner couldn't tell if it was from a previous accident or not and nothing further would be done and thanked me for my cooperation. This was in a message left on my answering machine. I was wondering if I should call and ask for correspondence from the department assuring me that nothing further is going to happen in accordance with that incident?

Thank you for your time.

Re: Hit and Run

I'd let sleeping dogs lie. However, I would take photos of your car to show no damage, even though they wouldn't necessarily prove that you didn't hit the other car. I'd save the tape as well.
