permiting violation of title

a friend was buying my car and it was parked at her house she drove the car without my knowledge and she has a suspended license.can i lose my license for this?i got a summons for permiting violations of title.

You should plead not guilty and request a hearing. If no witnesses show to prove the case against you and assuming you made no incriminating statements you should be fine. Also, remember the cop has the burden of proving his/her case against you. The MDJ may ask you for an explaination as to why your friend had your car, but you do not have to explain. If witnesses do show up to testify agaisnt you, your lack of knowledge of the use is a valid defense.

FYI--no matter what happens--if guilty--you will have 30 days to file a "de novo" appeal in the court of common pleas in the county where the hearing/event occurred.
