Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

I was pulled over with a friend in Pennsylvania. I was in my Trans Am and he was in his Corvette. The Trooper charged us with racing on highways. Admittedly, we were traveling pretty fast but the trooper didn't clock us and speed should be irrelevant for this charge. Also, most importantly, we were not racing. We were on a 3 hour drive to my cabin and were in the same lane with plenty of distance between each other. Cruising rapidly, but not racing in the slightest. I have already subpoenaed the audio and video recording in his car and it turns out there was none.

I wanted to settle this with the Trooper but he won't return my calls so it looks like we're fighting the citation. Does he have any legitimate ground to stand on or should I have the case thrown out on lack of evidence?

Well, you gotta fight it now. If you're found guilty you will lose your driving privileges in PA for six months. I would suspect the fact that since you were in performance cars that it may have weighed in the officers decision t write the tickets. Get a lawyer. Good luck.

You should not be your own lawyer. You risk suspension and heavy fines.
