Question about Towing Practices

are there any pennsylvania state laws that require a towing company to keep logs of all the service calls that they provide to customers? The state ploice are aying that a tow truck hit someone and then took off and is blaming our towing company. They say that we should have a log of all calls that we recieve. Our truck was not moved all day long, and there are numerous towing companies in the area with a similar truck.

I'd be surprised if any attorney could answer that off the top of their head.

If you don't have an attorney that works with your company you should find one immediately. That attorney needs to have experience with business law. They should be able to come up with an answer fairly quickly and also deal with the state police inquiries.
