Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

i received a citation for driving under a dui suspension. It was two years after the dui charge itself. I thought that the suspension was up but it only just started. I know it is a mandatory sentence but the question that i have is on the citation itself under section 27 n 28 where it has 1543 b,1 for the sec. n sub sec. does the b after the 1543 have to be in parenthesise ( b ) ? Would it also pay to fight this in some other way or just deal with it n get it over with? thanks for your time on this matter i hope you have something good to reply to me..
