Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania
I received my first traffic ticket for Obedience to a Traffic Control Device. I was speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph area. I was not speeding on purpose, but in stead just gained speed while going down a hill. The officer pulled me over for speeding, but instead of a speeding ticket he gave me a ticket for failure to obey a posted speed limit sign. The state of Pennsylvania does not allow me to take traffic school. If I go to court however, I could be charged with speeding which would add points to my license. If I plead guilty then I have no points added to my license. I live in North Carolina and go to college in Pennsylvania. Would North Carolina add points to my license if I plead guilty. What should I do?

The officer gave you a BIG break. Take the deal. In terms of NC consequences, you will have to ask a NC attorney.
