Reckless driving citation in the mail
On the way home,1:30am, I was cut off by a young girl in her car. Further up the road as I tried to pass (2 lane one-way) she cut me off. She did this a couple of times. Finally, at the light I passed her drove slowly and at the next light got out of my minivan, went back to her car directly behind mine, and told her to ''Never pull that crap again''. Prior to doing this I made sure it was well lit and vehichles behind her and lane next to us was full. 2 1/2 hrs later at 4am, 3 police cars show up at my house. Since, I have received a citation for reckless driving and another a week or so later for harassment. Both by the same officer. As the officers left that AM they told me they could not cite me because they were not there. Please help!

Re: Reckless driving citation in the mail
The citation swere filed "on information received." Yes, they were not there, but if the witness shows up at your hearing (assuming you plead not gulty and request a hearing) you can be convicted of it based on her testimony. Guilty or Not guilty will be determined by the DJ that hears the case.
A reckless driving conviction will result in, at least, a 6 month license suspension upon conviction. Please give me acll if you have any more questions or concerns.
