Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

DO they have to show me the Radar gun speed if I ask?

I was stopped on I76 in Somerset by a State Trooper. I have a Radar/Laser Jammer. After receiving a ticket for 83 in a 65 I asked to see the gun and was told that I did not have the right to see the gun in PA. Is this true? He also stated that he did not have the speed locked in to the gun. I know that there is a new radar called POP that my Jammer cannot block but I also thought that they had to show you the gun/speed if you asked. If they don't have to then what keeps them from being able to just pull over anyone they want? Who is keeping the Police in check in Pennsylvania?

I'm not sure about PA, but Ohio recognizes only certain types of radar/laser devices as stated in the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC).

Check into PA to find out what their equivalent to the OAC authorizes as proper use of radar/laser. If the gun the trooper was using is not listed, get it dismissed.
