Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

my son just had his license suspended for one year. is there a possibility to appeal that decision and instead of losing it for one year, do community service or pay a bigger fine? he was caught racing with another boy and received three tickets in total. one for reckless driving, one for racing and the other of course for driving over the speed limit. he is working and going to school which makes driving a necessity. unfortunately he didn't think about this and we are devasted, but i want to see our options.

He has to appeal the suspension and if he was found guilty by a District Justice, thereare only 30 days to appeal

YOU SHOULD CONSULT A LAWYER AND MAKE SURE HE IS FAMILIAR WITH LICENSE SUSPENSION LAW.

If he was found guilty or plead guilty to those citations that is the consequence.

If that happened in the last 30 days...appeal. You only have 30 days to do so from date of conviction.

If you do so you MUST also appeal the suspension in a separate appeal.

Never ever plead guilty to citations that carry suspensions or points. Never.
