Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania
Susspended License/ Occupational License
Last night my son got pulled over driving home from work on a susspended license. He has checked with PennDot to get a Bread And Butter license but was told not until the year is up. His job is at risk and he has to pay child support plus pay his bills. He was Told that he can't see the judge till Monday. How can he appeal or is it impossible.

Re: Susspended License/ Occupational License
First, your son needs to plead not guilty by sending in the required collateral and the signed citation indicating a not guilty pleas. Second he needs to get a restoration requirements letter. The letter will have a detailed listing of all offenses that your son has and will guide an attorney on advising him. Third, he needs to get an attorney to review the letter as some items can be fixed and some can't. An attorney can also help negotiate a plea bargain on the latest charge and will demonstrate your son's seriousness to the officer to clean up his act. I offer free consultations.
Re: Suspended License/ Occupational License
Your son needs to plead not guilty ASAP, failure to respond timely will be considered a guilty plea...then your son needs to retain legal counsel...last he needs to go to my website and download the appropriate bread and butter license application(s) and submit them to PenDot...
