Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania
What traffic laws can be inflicted for a 360 burnout?
I had been in a wide open parking lot and did a 360 burn out and pulled away and parked my car. A police officer came to my car approximately 15 minutes later and said she had recieved a call saying a car that fit my cars description did a burnout. She asked if it was mine and I agreed. She asked if i knew about the burnout and I told her I did it. She took my information down and told me there are three options that are as follows: Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Driving, or Careless Driving. Of these three, which would most likely be inflicted and/or which would be the most beneficial to me being the driver? The police officer did not put her lights on, or issue me a citation on the spot. She said she has 10 business days to file this, and that she will definately file one of the three. If she did not issue a ticket on the spot, and I was very courteous and honest with her, what do you think that outcome will be. It was done in a safe and mostly controlled environment. There was no harm to any persons or vehicles. Minor tire treads were left on the asphalt.

Reckless driving carries a driving license suspension but your actions probably don't rise to the level of that offense.
Carless driving carries points and your actions may rise to that level.
disordely conduct carries a potential jail sentence but as guilty plea would result in most likely just a fine.

You want the disorderly conduct, if it's a summary disorderly conduct. The others come with points on your drivers license. The DC is just a fine. However, if it's misdemeanor disorderly conduct (which I doubt it would be) you would have to rethink it.
