Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania
During a traffic stop, if a policeman orders you out of your vehicle do you have the right to refuse? Also, if a policeman wants to inspect the inside of your vehicle can you refuse based on the 4th amendment?

An officer has the right to ask you out of your vehicle, and he does have the right to shine the flashlight around inside your vehicle. However, you can refuse to allow a more thorough search at the ecene of the stop....but this will probably lead to the car being impounded and searched with a warrent a few hours later.
