Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

traffic summory

My boyfriend and I were driving in my car and he got pulled over for a minor traffic violation. I was in the passenger seat. Needless to say he didnt have a license. I got a summory for allowing him to drive my car w/out a license. My fine was $25. Will I receive points on my license?

You will receive the same punishment that he recieves. However, your license will not be suspended. You and your b/f should plead not guilty and request a hearing date. If you already pled guilty, you should file a summary appeal. Your boyfriend should also go to a AAA office and request a copy of his driving record and restoration requirements letter so that an exerinced driver's license lawyer can evaluate the possibility to obtaining a restricted license for your b/f.
