Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

A truck making a left turn crossed two lanes and struck my car. Since there were no witnesses the truck driver said i was over the white stop line which is only correct because of attempts to avoid him striking me. The police report states the truck failed to keep his vehicle in his lane but placed no fault. What recourse do i have?

The fact the police officer placed no fault is not really that relevant to the outcome of any civil case, and in fact it would not be admissable in Court. As for the effect the accident might have on any property damage settlement or your insurance rates, the insurance look more to the facts then to whether a citation was given. You are not going to get the police officer to change his report. If you had no collision coverage, and the truck's insurance carrier refuses to pay you, then you can always file an action in Small Claims Court. If there were injuries involved, you should see a lawyer immediately.
