At birth my biological father did not want me, so my mother took responsibility. Now he has passed away and I am wondering if I am the heir to his properties.

The answer depends upon whether your father had a will or not and other factors. If he had a will, the will controls how his assets pass. If he did not have a will, the assets pass according to the laws of intestate succession in Pennsylvania. What amount you receive will depend upon whether your father was married and how many other children he has. You should talk to an attorney as soon as possible to be certain that you receive your proper share.
