Brothers stole everthing
When my mother died her will said that everything was to be divied equally between her 7 children. My brother and his wife went into the house and took everything that they wanted and then to be nasty they said that they gave things to charity which is not true. My mother did not have alot except for things that my sisters and I gave her. And now they told us that if we want our things we have to buy it from them. They also will not let anyone into the house. Changed all of the locks. They are saying now that there is not a thing that the rest of us can do about it. My brothers told the lawyer that everyone is fighting over everything and can not agree. Which is not true. The rest of us have just recieved a letter from the lawyer that everything will be sold because of all of the fighting. And he is not talking to us just the two brothers that are doing this. I'm in Pa. and I have a sister in Minn. and the other in Fla. 2 brothers here. The two brothers that are doing this live in Del. and Va. They have taken three utility truck loads out of her house. My mother was a quilter and did have the best sewing machines 3 of them and material. My 2 brothers let there wives go in to the house and take everything. What can we do?

Re: Brothers stole everything
Has the will been filed with the Register of Wills? If not that needs to be done an an executor needs to get the letters of administration.
The executor is responsible for accounting for the estate property and carrying out the instructions of the will.
