Buying a house from an estate

My fiance and I lived together in a house he bought in May. We picked it out together but I am not on the deed. His parents intend to let me buy it, I will be paying cash. How do I protect myself and my home? I have already had my cars taken away, I don't want to lose my house.

I do not understand your question. You say you live in a house your fiance bought in may? If so, how are his parents going to sell it to you? If he owns it he has to sell it to you. Please clarify factually what is taking place so I may fashion an appropriate answer.
