Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Changing cause of death on a death certificate

My husbands death certificate does not correspond with his medical record. His certificate states that he died from Cardiac Dysrhythmia, sepsis, Colon Cancer and Electrolyte imbalance but his medical records state he died from Sepsis, Colon cancer, Hypoglycemia and Diabetes Mellitus. Can I get this changed? The doctor is refusing to change it. Can it be done legally?

Re: Changing cause of death on a death certificate

Probably but why would you want to? Its probably not going to be inexpensive and what is the benefit to change it?
