changing exuctor on estate

we have just signed papers to change the excecutor on the estate all partys agree and they say it will take 2months to change that. I don't understand all the lawyer had to do is file the paperwork and its all signed and notorized whats the deal?

Other than the judge having to sign an Order before it is done,I am not sure myself. You marked PA on the location and if it is a Pennsylvania case, then I have absolutely no idea as I am not licensed in Pennsylvania. I do suggest that you ask the attorney.
