Can I collect unpaid alimony from ex-husband's estate?

My ex-husband died 6 years ago leaving our daughter nothing and owing me alimony and money from our divorce settlement. Is there anything I can do to collect what was owed to me at this late date?

You had a valid claim when he died. However waiting 6 years to inquire about it leaves little hope for its collection.

You could make a claim against his estate, if any existed, however, it likely does not exist or was probated. Otherwise, your claim died with him.
