Do family members have the right /ability to find out the contents of a will that has been filed upon a family members death?

I am not sure what you mean by "filed". If you mean filed with the register of wills, the will is then public record and you can go to the Register of Wills office and look at it or even copy it.

If the Will is filed with the Register of Wills and an estate is opened, the beneficiaries named in the Will as well as the spouse and child of the decedent are required to be given notice that the estate has been opened and the Will filed with the Register of Wills.
